When is the best time to apply for my visa?
The best time to apply for your visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, for some countries we may be able to process your visa in as little as 1 business day. For example, if you overnight your application to us on Monday, you can have it back in your hand on Wednesday with our same-day rush service.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Kazakhstan visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Kazakhstan visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application by a secure method, such as a guaranteed postal service or courier.

Sample of the Business Travel Requirements for an Kazakhstan Business Travel Visa Requirements for Belgian Citizens

  1. Visa May Not Be Required

    Visa exempt for a stay of up to 30 days. The traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return airline tickets
    • Hold documents showing proof of purpose of trip
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination
    • Confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa as these conditions are subject to change

    If you will be staying longer than 30 days, please refer to the requirements below

  2. Passport

    The applicant's passport must:

    • Be valid for at least six months after departure
    • Have at least two blank facing visa pages
    • Be free of covers

  3. Photographs

    You must provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following criteria:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 35 mm by 45mm in size
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear no headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photo should not be affixed to your application and it may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

  4. Copy of Passport Identification Page

    A clear copy of the information page of the passport of the applicant.

  5. Letter of Introduction

    You must provide a Letter of Introduction from the applicant's Belgian employer. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays a Belgian postal address. Use the sample Letter of Introduction, which can be found here, to complete your letter.

    All Letters of Introduction must be addressed to the Embassy. The address of the Embassy can be found here 

  6. Letter of Invitation

    A letter of invitation from the company to be visited. This letter must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Include the name of the applicant
    • Include the passport details of the applicant
    • Specify the purpose of journey
    • Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
    • State the location of the visiting company
    • Be stamped and signed

  7. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    The following documents must be provided:

    • A copy of your flight itinerary or your e-ticket
    • A hotel confirmation

  8. Invitations for Multiple Entry Applicants

    The invitation for a double or multiple entry business visa has to be an official invitation and must be legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of destination.
    A business multiple entry invitation needs to mention your surname, followed by your first name. If this is the other way around, the consulate may not accept your invitation.

  9. Visa Application Form

    One completed and signed application form is required. The form must be typed, the Embassy does not accept manually completed forms

    Proof that you live in Belgium or Luxembourg, this must be provided as:

    • A of a copy of both sides of the applicant's ID card.

    or

    • A copy of the applicant's residence permit

  5. Letter of Introduction

    A Letter of Introduction this must include:

    • Date of lodge of application
    • Type of visa requested
    • Date of expected travel
    • Date of expected return
    • Signature of the applicant
    • Explain in detail the exact purpose of the trip 

  6. Proof of Travel Arrangements
